On occasion, you may see a database error when attempting to create a lease in CRM IQ. These errors are typically seen for new residents but may occur with current residents as well.
If you see a database error during lease generation you will want to take a look at the application form. The best places to check are the vehicles and pets tab, ensure that none of the fields are too long or have special characters. If you are unsure if a specific field is causing the error, you can simply shorten it and then go back to managing the lease to see if the database error is removed.
In this case the database error is stemming from the license plate information "TEMP ALX049" is too long, when we shorten to "ALX049" the database error clears.
If the database error is instead occurring with a current resident, check the same fields under the "Profile" tab. Vehicle and pet information should not be too long as there are character limits for these fields on the lease agreement.
If you are unable to find the source of the database error, please reach out to the OPS team for assistance.
