New Lease Showing Incorrect Deposit Amount

When creating a lease for an approved applicant you may come across an issue where the deposit is showing up incorrectly. There are two places you will need to check to ensure the correct deposit appears on the agreement.

The first place to check is the resident ledger, if an execution deposit/security deposit has already been charged, this amount will be factored into the total deposit. Here we can see an execution deposit of $500 has already been charged:

After you confirm whether a secdep has been charged to the ledger, you will then take a look at the All-Charges tab. The move-in charges will also factor into the total deposit. Since an additional deposit of $500 is selected, the total deposit showing on the agreement will populate as $1000 ($500 already charged to the ledger + $500 charged at move-in).

If the deposit amount needs to be a different amount, you can simply deselect or edit the amount on the All-Charges screen.

Tip: Resetting the charges on the All-Charges screen will also clear any previously selected charges and allow you to start over.
