Resident Communication during the heat advisory

 

Task: Oregon and Washington, if you are in a heat advisory zone please distribute the attached Resident Heat Advisory Letter either electronically or by posting to all residents. 

 

Email template will be Heat Advisory Notice:  Please update to reflect a cooling center in your area if available.

 

Cooling centers may be available in your area.  Please distribute cooling center information to your residents.   If you receive an inquiry to for wellness check  please make this a priority follow up with the resident as soon as possible.   If someone is experiencing heat exhaustion or heat stroke CALL 911.  If someone needs a ride to a community cooling center CALL 211
